Throughout my moms detour and journey she has always been optimistic, full of light, happiness and kept a consistent testimony on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has amazed me with how she has been able to recognize the big and small tender mercies in her life and in our families lives at this time. One of the greatest things that she has challenged our family to do last week was to start and finish the Book of Mormon by the time she will be finished with all her treatments; both chemo and radiation. The estimated date in which she will be finished is August 20th, 2014. This gave us approximately 108 days to start and finish the book from the date she challenged us. I have created this bookmark for my family in order to follow along with how much to read each day and would like to make it available to all who have or will be joining in on the challenge of finding HOPE within the scriptures. No matter what your life is looking like at the moment we hope that you will join us on this journey of finding HOPE in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be able to have tender mercies appear and be recognized in your own life and struggles.
